The heat is on in greenhouses

The Netherlands is a global leader in the production and export of ornamental plants. Most of these plants are grown in greenhouses, where conditions can be carefully controlled to support the growth of these often sensitive species. Yet, hot summers and, in particular, intense sunlight remain a growing challenge, increasingly exacerbated by climate change, as heat protection measures are often limited.

CaraPlant helps plants cope with heat stress by activating their natural defense mechanisms. Initial trials in large greenhouse facilities have shown that treated plants manage intense sunlight, high temperatures, and drought-related stress more effectively. In this way, CaraPlant contributes to higher survival rates of ornamental plants and ultimately supports greater yields.
