Dry times for dry wines

Climate change is reshaping viticulture in Germany. Higher temperatures now allow grape varieties once found only in southern regions like Italy or France. While this opens new possibilities, it also brings serious challenges. German vineyards are increasingly exposed to prolonged droughts and extreme heat, putting both yield and quality at risk.

CaraPlant strengthens grapevines from the inside. By boosting root growth, it helps plants establish and thrive, even in dry soils. Especially for newly planted vineyards, CaraPlant treatments significantly improve survival rates — supporting sustainable, resilient, and higher-yielding crops.

For the past two years, we have been testing CaraPlant on a newly planted plot in the Middle Mosel. The results are clear: faster growth, higher survival of young vines, and in the second year, a notable increase in yield compared to untreated rows.
